NOTES:
Teams must play with a minimum of eight players and with a maximum of
five players of either sex - (opportunity to play 6/4 is no longer available).
Teams playing with nine players will have one auto out; teams playing
with eight players will have two auto outs.
Games will be unpired
by the teams playing. Batting side will provide an umpire for the top
or bottom of the innings. If a team turns up with a surplus of players,
they can supply the umpire for the whole game should both sides agree.
Any team that cancels their game after
the Monday before the Thursday game must inform the opposing team, the
umpire and Paul Thornton. If the game is cancelled on either the Tuesday,
Wednesday or Thursday then the win will be awarded to the team that can
play unless the game can be rearranged at a mutually convenient date.
Three points will be awarded for a win and one point for a draw.
The final standings will be determined on the games played up to the end
of the season.
For an umpire no show the relevant team will be deducted two points.
All results must be emailed or phoned by BOTH team captain to Pat King
by the end of the weekend following the Thursday match. Failure to do
so will incur a one point deduction from the points awarded.
