Sutton Softball Club was founded in 1989 by a
small number of enthusiasts, and has grown steadily ever since. From a
tiny group of players, and with the kind assistance of the Sutton Sports
Council, we grew to having two thriving league teams, The SCORPIONS and
The BRAVES, plus a tournament team made up of members of both teams, which
enables us to have a presence at many of the major tournaments in and
around London and the South-East, and the rest of the country as well. |

| Our aims
are the same now as they were when we started; namely to promote and develop
the sport of softball in the Sutton and Croydon area. We aim to provide
an opportunity for girls to partake in an exciting team sport alongside
their male counterparts
We are members of the Redhill & District Softball League, and are affiliated to the British Softball Federation, which is itself part of BaseballSoftball UK. League games are played all over Surrey, but mainly in the Redhill & Reigate area. Our home ground is shared with the Croydon Pirates Baseball Club, in Wallington, Surrey.
